A poem that I'm playing around with at the moment could look like this:

or it could look like this:

that critic
detonated
atom-bomb-like
warhead-words
and emerging-confidence-seeking missiles
on my self-belief
and nuclear-mushroomed
secrets
exposed

with the abolition
of exclamation-mark
slavery
my wordstream
flows
here
unadorned
unashamed uncluttered.

I'm not sure which one I prefer (if any).

What do you think?

  1. Trish Malbon says:

*Poetry in motion, confidence rising. The journey you’re on now is unstoppable.

Earl is right when he says "we become what we think about" because our goals and dreams that live in our subconscious, are unlocked by our thoughts, releasing opportunities to take the next step, to stand still or to step backwards. The choice we make is a conscious decision. Listening to our gut feeling (intuition) unlocks the chains which enslave us and guides us down the path of freedom.

    Great work Jen.
    Love Trish
